Anyone who wants to learn how to create animation toys and use motion in their projects.
This is a beginner course with no requirements apart from being comfortable using a computer. If you use programs like Microsoft Word or Photoshop without trouble, you're good to go.
While this course covers Javascript, you don't need any prior knowledge of Javascript at all to start.
A computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) with the latest version of Chrome installed and a broadband internet connection. That’s it!

Syllabus
Spinning square
In the first project, we'll talk about how to draw shapes in web projects using Two.js and animate them using simple rotations.
Grouped rotations
In the second project, we'll build upon the first project by adding and controlling multiple shapes in a group and learn how to manipulate them on a group and individual level.
Looping squares
In Looping Squares, we dive into timelines and how we can loop animations, how to add different types of easing and different delays per shape to create mesmerizing animations
Zipper
With Zipper, we talk about how to split our timelines into two so we can go forwards and backwards in time and control shapes in a per-shape and per-sequence way
Random placements
One of the most fun parts of creative coding is randomness. In this project, we add in random patterns into our animations by holding randomness data per shape to move them into a new position.
The Moiré Effect
On our final project, we create an animation with a four-part sequence that lets us control our shapes, easings and delays on a granular level.

Yes, we do! All you'd need to do is send the links to your completed projects over tosafacodes@hotmail.comat the end of your course. We will review them, provide feedback if necessary, and then issue your certificate!
All our course videos are taught using theSuperHi Editor, but you'll be able to apply everything you'll learn to a code editor of your choice. Many students go on to use other code editors, for example, if their workplace has an existing standard.
Our SuperHi Editor is designed with manysmart featuresto help avoid wasted time looking for things like a typo or missing bracket (which is why we made it!), but the same code concepts apply to any editor.
Yes! You can use your own custom third-party domains and connect them to your sites built with our SuperHi Editor. Additionally, all SuperHi sites come with free SSL Certificates for added protection.
